A pair of goals by fifth-year senior forward Daryl Watts sealed a 3-1 hockey victory at St. Thomas for the Badger women’s team Monday.
That completes a long weekend of three games that saw coach Mark Johnson’s squad claim two wins and a tie.
Sophie Shirley put Wisconsin on the scoreboard first in the second period.
The Tommies tied it, then Watts found the range for a goal giving the Badgers the lead for good.
Wisconsin’s record improves to 20-3-4 overall.
Wisconsin is back at LaBahn Arena Friday for the team’s first regular-season homes games since January 1st and 2nd.
U-W will host Minnesota-Duluth.
