Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Baseball Coach Bruce Steinbecker has announced plans for a Father & Son Baseball Clinic in March.
The head of the Ships program said it’s the first of what he hopes will be an annual event to “give people a chance to do something together while spreading our knowledge of baseball to young players and their dads.”
Steinbecker explains the clinic scheduled for two consecutive Saturdays, March 12th and 19th is for 3th- and 4th-grade boys and either a father/mentor or older sibling and there’s space available for 20-boys per grade.
The camp will be held at Lincoln High School’s JFK Fieldhouse with the 3rd graders time from 8:30 to 10:30 am, and 4th graders from 11-until-1:00 o’clock. It’ll focus on teaching the basic skills needed to become a better baseball player and both father and son will participate in throwing, fielding, pitching, and hitting drills.
The total cost for both Saturdays is $40.00 per player. If you have any questions feel free to email Coach Steinbecker at: steinbecker4@gmail.com.
