Pinecrest Historical Village, located west of Manitowoc, will be offering a behind-the-scenes “White Gloves Tour” of the museum’s Billy Schultz Circus archives early next month.
Schultz, who was born in Manitowoc in 1923 and died here in 2009, was an American circus performer, as well as a national paddleball and racquetball champion, big-time wrestler, and a U.S. Marine.
The tour is scheduled for Tuesday, February 8th starting at 5:00 PM and the cost is $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers with proceeds benefiting the Historical Society’s Collection Preservation Fund.
It’ll focus on the museum’s Billy Schultz Circus scrapbooks, programs, and memorabilia.
Advanced registration is required, and space is limited.
