It has been a busy week for Senator Andre Jacque, who has two more bills making strides toward becoming law. The De Pere Senator’s bill aimed at protecting vulnerable adults has passed the Senate.
The measure passed on a 31-2 bi-partisan vote and now moves on to the State Assembly. Meanwhile, his public safety legislation is on its way to Governor Tony Evers’ desk. Jacque explained that this package of bills “are designed to support the law enforcement officers, staff, and court systems we rely on keep us safe.”
Senate Bills 100 and 219 now just need a signature from the governor before they are officially law in Wisconsin.
