The man who is charged with burning the body of the man found on the UW Green Bay Campus has been ordered to stand trial.
Jeisaac Rodriguez-Garcia waived a preliminary hearing on a count of Mutilating a Corpse, and he will be back in court for a plea hearing on February 21st.
The body of Jason Mendez-Ramos was found on the edge of the campus grounds on September 28th of last year.
A van was spotted in the area, and was linked back to Rodriguez-Garcia.
He initially denied being in the area at the time, but cell phone records contradicted that statement.
At this time, Rodriguez-Garcia is the only suspect charged in the case, but no charges have been brought forth regarding the actual killing of Mendez-Ramos.
