Big Ten football is reportedly considering some significant scheduling changes.
The Atlantic is reporting it’s thinking about going to eight conference games and doing away with the divisional standings.
Under the new plan, each conference team would play the same three opponents every year and cycle through the other 10 Big Ten teams every other year – or, two years on and two years off.
The earliest the change would come would likely be the 2023 college football season.
