The 31-year-old woman facing charges in the traffic death of a Wisconsin Public Media official has made her first court appearance.
A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of Shawnicia Youmas.
Investigators say she was driving on the westbound Beltline frontage road last July when she hit Gene Purcell on his motorcycle.
Purcell died four days later.
Youmas is charged with homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle.
She waived her right to a preliminary hearing and the case was bound over for trial.
