A March 17th sentencing date has been set for a Dane County man found guilty of killing his parents.
Wisconsin state law requires that 23-year-old Chandler Halderson receive two life sentences.
He was found guilty of eight total charges last Thursday.
Prosecutors told the court he killed Valders natives Bart and Krista Halderson last July, then dismembered their bodies and tried to burn their remains in the fireplace in their home.
Some body parts were found in at least two other locations.
