A bill written by two local legislators and named in honor of an 18-year-old Mishicot man is just a signature away from becoming law.
Senator Andre Jacque of De Pere and Assemblyman Shae Sortwell of Two Rivers co-authored Dillon’s Law 2.0, which expands the ability for people to get and use epi-pens in honor of Dillon Mueller, who died when he could not get a life-saving dose of epinephrine in time.
This bill adds on to the original 2018 bill, which already made saving lives easier.
Now that Dillon’s Law 2.0 has passed unanimously in the Senate and Assembly, it heads off to Governor Tony Evers’ desk for final approval.
