
A man believed to be a member of the Mexican cartel has pleaded not guilty to drug charges in Brown County.
Manuel Antonio Herrera-Hernandez is facing 15 charges in connection to a massive drug bust back in May.
According to police reports, a total of four pounds of methamphetamine, an ounce of heroin, two ounces of fentanyl, and half an ounce of cocaine were all seized during Herrera-Hernandez’s arrest, and he told investigators that they were sent to him by the “New Generation Drug Cartel”.
He was out on a $25,000 bond in Oconto County when he was arrested, where he has been charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide.
Herrera-Hernandez is due back in court on May 20th for a status conference.
