
A Dane County Circuit Court judge says she doesn’t understand why Republicans have provided so few records in response to requests from a liberal group.
American Oversight has brought three lawsuits after asking for public records from the review of the 2020 presidential election.
A lawyer for Assembly Speaker Robin Vos told the court Monday he had done little to ensure the documents were turned over.
Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn reportedly wants an additional briefing submitted by March 16th.
She says she will likely issue a written order after that.
American Oversight has asked that Vos be held in contempt of court for the way he handled the group’s requests.
