A Manitowoc woman is looking to be crowned Miss Green Bay Area.
Marissa Gove, who graduated from Lakeshore Technical College, will be competing against five other women for the crown this Saturday (January 29th) inside the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center.
Gove is running on the social impact initiative of “Promoting Self Confidence through Healthy Living” and will be showcasing her kickboxing talent.
Also being crowned that night will be Miss Green Bay Area’s Outstanding Teen.
Three young women will battle it out for that title.
The new titleholders will advance to the Miss Wisconsin and Miss Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen Competitions this June in Oshkosh.
The show is open to the public and will begin at 4:00 PM.
