Even though the UW Green Bay men’s basketball team come into their game last night having lost 8 of their last nine games, and Detroit Mercy had won 4 of their previous five, the Phoenix walked away the victors last night, 70-63.
They used a balanced attack to do it, as Cade Meyer tallied 16 points, Kaukauna High School Grad Donovan Ivory accounted for 13 points, and Japannah Kellogg III added 12 points.
The Titans were led by Antoine Davis, who had a huge night, scoring 25 points while teammates Madut Akec added 16 and Noah Waterman accounted for 10.
The Phoenix close out their four-game homestand tomorrow at the Kress Center when the Oakland Golden Grizzlies come to town.
That game will tip-off at noon.
