Two school Districts in Sheboygan County have reported issues with COVID-19 infections among their students and staff.
The Sheboygan Falls School District has reported that 11.5 % percent of their students are currently at home with the virus, which totals around 195 students, as well as 19 staff members.
Comparatively, less than 1% of students in Sheboygan are out, while the Plymouth School District reported that 3.5% of their students have the virus.
It’s not all positive news in the Sheboygan Area School District, as Etude Middle School now has a mandatory masking policy.
Which the infection rate throughout the District is rather low, Etude Middle School reported that 7.79% of their students were infected.
That is above the District’s 5% threshold to implement the mandate.
The mandate will remain in effect for seven days before being reevaluated.
