Milwaukee firefighters had to deal with bitterly cold temperatures Thursday morning while battling a major house fire.
A 73-year-old man who was a resident of the house suffered critical injuries and a 53-year-old man also had to be hospitalized.
He is expected to recover.
Flames and thick smoke were pouring out of the roof just after 10:00 a-m.
Investigators say the fire started on the first floor, but it quickly spread to the second floor, and into the attic.
The names of the victims haven’t been released.
