The University of Wisconsin has banned a person from all athletic events after his actions in Evanston, Illinois Tuesday night at the basketball game against Northwestern.
The man was kicked out of Welsh-Ryan Arena for what both schools are calling “abhorrent anti-Asian activities.”
U-W says he won’t be allowed to buy tickets for future games from the university.
No names have been released.
The racist behavior was captured on video giving the university a record of the incident.
The university says the man involved isn’t a current U-W-Madison student or employee.
