Nothing says winter quite like the sound of children screaming as they barrel down a hill on a sled.
Those sounds will be filling the air at the Pinecrest Historical Village on Saturday, as the Pinecrest Historical Society is inviting families to sled and stroll throughout the village.
Guests can enjoy sledding on the Niles Church hill, snowshoeing around the historic structures of Pinecrest Village and in the wintery woods, and cross-country skiing.
Bring your own sleds, snowshoes, and skis as none are available at the museum.
The event will run from 10:00 until 2:00 PM at the Historical Village located at 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc.
