A Manitowoc man has been sentenced for his role in the overdose death of a 24-year-old man in 2020.
26-year-old Jeremiah J. Janke was convicted on a charge of First-Degree Reckless Homicide by Delivering Drugs back in August and will spend six years in state prison on that charge.
He will spend an additional five years in prison after also being found guilty of delivering heroin in 2017, and another drug case from 2020.
Janke was deemed to be the one who delivered the drugs that killed a man in a home on Clark Street in 2020.
Surveillance video from surrounding residences showed Janke going to the victim’s home just prior to his death.
