A 30-year-old Green Bay man is facing charges in Manitowoc County after attempting to steal from the Manitowoc Meijer store.
An officer was dispatched to the store at around 6:30 PM on Wednesday (January 19th) to investigate the theft attempt.
The man admitted to attempting to steal over $50 worth of merchandise which he claimed would have been a Valentine’s Day gift for his boyfriend who lives in Manitowoc.
The man was also found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, so he was arrested.
The man was out on bail for two Operating while Revoked charges in Manitowoc and Brown County, as well as Felony Possession of THC and Drug Paraphernalia charges in Kenosha County.
He is now facing those same Possession charges in this case, along with two Misdemeanor and one Felony count of Bail Jumping.
