The latest batch of clergy abuse claims have been delivered to Attorney General Josh Kaul, and they include allegations against the Diocese of Green Bay.
The allegations were collected by an organization known as Nate’s Mission.
Program director Peter Isley said that there are thousands of pages of church files, memorandums, and cases concerning sexual abuse of children by clergy in the state including locally.
Isley claims that then-Bishop Zubik ordered the destruction of nearly all evidence of criminal behavior done by dozens of Green Bay priests in his Diocese back in 2007.
The Diocese issued a statement, where they said, “Being that this is part of an ongoing review, and since we are not aware of the content of these documents, we will reserve any further comment at this time.”
