Homes in Manitowoc County are selling for more compared to last year.
According to information released by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, the average home sale in the County was listed at $159,900 in December, which is up nearly 20% from the previous year’s average of $133,750.
That being said, the number of sales went down 7% from 100 to 93 homes sold.
There was more good news for those looking to sell their home, as homes were on the market for an average of 63 days in December, which is a 30% decrease from the previous year when the average was 90 days.
These numbers are quite different from the state averages, where homes sold for 10% more between December 2020 and 2021, the number of sales were near-identical, and they stayed on the market for an average of 75 days, a near 12% decrease.
