Badgers running back Braelon Allen has been named to the Freshman All-American team by the Football Writers Association of America.
The 6′ 2″, 238-pound Allen rushed for 1,268 yards and 12 touchdowns for Wisconsin, averaging 3.8 yards a carry.
He is the first Badger named to the freshman All-American team since Tyler Biadasz and Jonathan Taylor in 2017.
