The Badgers outscored Rutgers 19-8 on the way to a 49-45 victory.
Sydney Hilliard and Julie Pospisilova scored 13 points apiece to lead Wisconsin.
Rutgers outrebounded the Badgers 33-19, but coach Marisa Moseley’s team came up with a season-high 15 steals.
Wisconsin scored 21 of its 49 points off turnovers.
The Badgers travel to Michigan Thursday for their next conference game.
The Wolverines claimed the first meeting 93-81 last month.
