A Manitowoc man is facing his 4th OWI charge after crashing into a curb over the weekend.
An officer was on patrol at around 2:45 AM on Saturday, when he saw a vehicle with its hazard lights on near South 21st Street and Clay Pit Road.
The officer spoke with the driver who revealed that he had crashed into the curb, which left his vehicle undrivable.
He claimed he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to spin out and hit the curb.
When asked if he had been drinking, the 30-year-old man reportedly said “Yeah, I’m a little drunk.”
The man was not supposed to be driving as he had his license revoked due to a previous OWI conviction.
He was charged with his fourth offense, and also received treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.
