Just days after 27 people had to be rescued on a chunk of ice in the waters of Green Bay in Brown County, two men were pulled from the water in Door County.
According to the Door County Sheriff’s Department, a 58-year-old man from Kewaunee was towing an ATV with another ATV on Saturday when he broke through the ice on Green Bay.
A 22-year-old Brussels man was on the second ATV, and a 45-year-old Winneconne man came to assist when he too fell into the water.
The 22-year-old man was able to stay out of the water, as Sheriff’s Department Crews rescued the older men from the water.
The Kewaunee man was airlifted to a local hospital, while the Winneconne man was treated at the scene.
