***Original Story***
A pair of crashes have resulted in traffic issues on I-43.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the crashes occurred between County Road XX and Highway 42, one in the northbound lanes, and one in the southbound lanes.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department is handling the incident, which reportedly occurred at around 5:30 AM.
Very little information is available at this time, but the Sheriff’s Department did say they would be on the scene for a while.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area until further notice.
