A Manitowoc County woman has been arrested and charged with Election Fraud.
According to a criminal complaint from the State of Wisconsin, 58-year-old Lisa Campion voted in the 2020 presidential election even though she was still on probation and thus not eligible to do so.
Campion reportedly voted in the Town of Two Rivers instead of in the Town of Kossuth where her address was listed, meaning those election officials would not have known about her voter status.
Campion however was aware, as she had signed a voter ineligibility notice and acknowledgment form in 2017.
Campion was on probation for a drunk driving conviction at the time of the election.
Charges were filed on Tuesday, and Campion is due in court on February 28th.
