A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he allegedly attacked his mother and attempted to push her down a flight of stairs.
Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were sent to a home in the 1900 block of Rankin Street just before 7:00 PM yesterday (January 11th) to investigate a family trouble call.
When they arrived, they spoke with a woman, who showed the officers a video of an incident she had with her 29-year-old son earlier in the day.
The video showed the two arguing, and the man threatening to throw an object at his mother.
He also threatened to do something to her vehicle and then attempted to push his mother down a set of stairs that lead to the basement of the home.
The man claimed it was an accident, but he was arrested.
The man has been charged with Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
