Five people have been left without a home following a fire last night in Green Bay.
According to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, crews responded to a six-unit apartment building in the 2600 block of University Avenue at around 5:30 last night.
They arrived to find smoke and flames billowing from an attached garage, and had the fire out in about ten minutes.
While the firefighters were able to keep the blaze from expanding to any of the living quarters, there was heavy smoke damage in two of the apartments.
The American Red Cross was called to the scene, and they are now assisting the five people who are unable to return to their apartments.
The cause of the fire is yet unknown, but the Department said it caused around $30,000 in damage.
