Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett is becoming a hot item for N-F-L teams looking for a new head coach.
The Denver Broncos have asked Green Bay for permission to talk to Hackett about their vacancy after firing Vic Fangio.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have already scheduled an interview this week.
Hackett has been the Packers offensive coordinator for the last three seasons and he has built a reputation for helping create Green Bay’s high-octane offense.
Head coach Matt LaFleur understands.
He says if he was leading a search for a head coach, Hackett would be high on LaFleur’s list.
