Fuel prices in Eastern Wisconsin continued their post-New Year climb this past week.
According to numbers on the AAA Gas Prices webpage, fuel in Manitowoc County is four cents more expensive on average compared to last week, now sitting at $3.03.
Prices rose two cents in Sheboygan County, where the average is now at $3.05, while a three-cent jump was reported in both Calumet and Outagamie Counties, where the price averages to $2.97 and $2.93 respectively.
Brown County reported the largest spike, up seven cents from last week up to $3.04, while Kewaunee County wasn’t far behind.
They saw a five-cent increase to $3.03, while Door County reported a one-cent rise to $3.11.
The state average also rose a penny to an even $3.00, and the national average jumped up two cents to $3.30.
Manitowoc County saw its lowest price over the last four months the week after Christmas when the average was at $2.97. Since then, gas prices have risen an average of three cents per week.
