A Dane County judge has declined to block a subpoena issued by election investigator Michael Gableman.
He wants to interview Wisconsin’s chief elections administrator as part of his review of the 2020 presidential election.
Gableman was hired by Republicans last year to investigate possible wrongdoing. Judge Rhonda Lanford’s decision was issued Monday.
Attorney General Josh Kaul was trying to block the subpoena Gableman had sent to Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe.
Kaul has the opportunity to amend his argument and try again.
