The deadline extension for filing candidacy paperwork for three Manitowoc County Supervisory Districts has expired, and no one has filed paperwork.
County Clerk Jessica Backus explained to Seehafer News that this means that the seats in Districts 13, 15, and 25 will be vacant on the Spring Election ballot.
However, names can be written in for those districts, and the write-in name with the highest vote total will be named the winner.
The election will be held on April 5th, with multiple other seats up for grabs, as well as City Council seats in Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
