With their first Big East Conference win in the books, Marquette goes shooting for a second one at Georgetown tonight (January 7th).
The tipoff in the Capital One Arena in Washington is set for 5:30 p-m.
Marquette has a record of 9-and-6 overall and 1-and-3 in conference games.
The two sides split a pair of meetings last season with the Hoyas ending Marquette’s season with a 68-49 decision in the conference tournament.
The Golden Eagles have already played six games against top-25 teams this season and they could start a stretch of six in a row on January 15th if Seton Hall, Villanova, Xavier, and Providence don’t fall out of the polls.
They play Seton Hall and Villanova twice in that span.
