Wisconsin set a new record for the third straight day Thursday when more than 11,000 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by the Department of Health Services.
That’s the highest number diagnosed in any one day since the pandemic started last year and it beats the old record – set Wednesday – by more than a thousand cases.
Hospital officials report more than 91 percent of the state’s hospital beds are currently being used and 95 percent of I-C-U beds are filled.
