Wisconsin native and Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker is said to be recovering from inflammation around his heart.
Stricker’s white blood cell count was soaring and he says his liver was unstable.
Stricker says his heart was racing at 160 beats per minute for two hours.
He spent two weeks in a hospital for treatment.
Stricker says he and his family have adjourned to Florida for the winter.
He lost 25 pounds during the health emergency but says he is moving around a little bit now.
