The Badgers followed Johnny Davis’ 26-point night to stretch their winning streak to four games in a row Thursday night.
After a dominant first half, Wisconsin led the Iowa Hawkeyes most of the game in an 87-78 win.
It had been billed as a battle between sophomore stars Davis and Keegan Murray of Iowa. Murray scored 27 in the loss but Davis had more rebounds, nine to five, and more assists, five to none.
Davis also got more help from his teammates. Brad Davison and Tyler Wahl combined for 34 points, 16 rebounds, and four assists.
Wisconsin’s record improves to 12-and-2, including 3-and-1 in Big Ten games.
They play at Maryland Sunday afternoon.
