An elderly woman was found dead in the Mishicot Village Park on Monday.
According to the Mishicot Police Department, officers were dispatched to the park located at 222 S Rockway Street at around 3:15 PM to investigate a report of a deceased individual.
When they arrived, the officers found the woman, who was reportedly deceased and beyond the point of saving.
While the incident is still under investigation, Police Chief Paul Granger says “We have no reason to believe the public was in any danger.”
