Staffing shortages are forcing the Wisconsin Humane Society to close its adoption services at three of its locations.
The temporary change is in effect at campuses in Racine, Ozaukee, and Door counties. The announcement was made Monday. The Humane Society says all other services remain open.
Animals that are available for adoption will be transferred to the Milwaukee and Green Bay locations.
