Packers head coach Matt LaFleur says his starters will play in the season finale at Detroit.
Even though his team clinched the number-one seed for the N-F-C playoffs, LaFleur says Green Bay is preparing this week for its stars to take the field against the Lions.
The coach says he isn’t comfortable with having what would essentially be a three-week layoff for those players.
Clinching the top seed means the Packers will get a first-round bye.
Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams had already said they want to play Sunday.
It’s possible that left tackle David Bakhtiari and cornerback Jaire Alexander will get some snaps.
