A fire yesterday afternoon in a Manitowoc trailer park has left a family without a home.
The Manitowoc Fire Department was called to the fire in the trailer park on East Albert Drive Monday afternoon and sent out an alert to all surrounding fire departments.
Two family pets were lost in the blaze, but there were no other injuries reported.
The unit was deemed a total loss and a cause was not immediately available.
The Manitowoc Fire Department is reminding residents to ensure their smoke detectors are in working order.
