
Five area leaders have been added to the Lakeland University Board of Trustees, including a Milwaukee County Judge.
Judge Kashoua Kristy Yang joins the Board after being the first Asian American judge elected in Wisconsin, and the judge of Hmong ethnicity (without appointment) in the United States.
The other new Board members include Cory Bouck, the regional business director for the Asia-Pacific Region at Johnsonville Sausage, Laura Roenitz, the Executive Director of the Kohler Foundation, Inc, Michelle Kumbier, the former chief operating officer at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, and Keona Jones, the assistant state superintendent of the Division for Student and School Success of Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction.
