Gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin are starting the new year on the rise.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County rose two cents from last week up to $2.99.
Sheboygan County was the only area to report a decline, down a penny to $3.03, while Calumet County’s average rose six cents to $2.94.
Outagamie County saw an eight-cent increase to $2.90, while Brown County reported the largest increase.
They rose nine cents, and now average $2.97 per gallon.
In Kewaunee County, there was a three-cent jump to $2.98, while Door County saw a one cent rise to $3.10.
The state average also rose four cents to $2.99, while the national average remained unchanged at $3.28.
