The Austin Straubel International Airport is receiving some federal dollars to address its infrastructure.
The $2.8 million they will get is coming from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which is allocating nearly $2.9 billion to airports across the country.
It has not yet been decided how the money will be spent at the Green Bay airport, but the funds will have to go toward things like runways, taxiways, safety and sustainability projects terminal improvements, airport transit connections, and airport roadway projects.
Plans for the funds will be finalized early next year.
