A pub and grill located on the Sheboygan River is closing due to a shortage of workers.
Anglers Avenue Pub and Grill announced that they will close their door on January 3rd, but will reopen on April 20th.
Anglers is far from the only restaurant to be affected by staffing issues.
You can ask nearly every restaurant, store, or factory if they need workers, and a majority, if not all, will say that they do.
Specifically in the restaurant business, the National Restaurant Association estimates that 78% of eatery owners do not have enough employees to meet the surge of diners.
Making the problem even worse, many places are having trouble getting some food items delivered.
While Anglers will be re-opening, an estimated 90,000 diners, pizza places, and other food joints have not since the start of the pandemic, including a neighbor of Anglers, The Duke of Devon.
They were open for 16-years but recently locked their doors for the last time.
