As the Badgers prepare for Thursday’s Las Vegas Bowl against Arizona State they are working under a temporary running backs coach.
Former Badger Garrett Groshek is filling in while permanent coach Gary Brown is back in Madison dealing with what U-W officials call a non-COVID illness.
Brown could still make the trip to Las Vegas if his condition improves.
Groshek scored seven touchdowns during his Wisconsin career, gaining 1,216 yards on 235 carries.
