Gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin continued their downward trend over the past week.
The average price per gallon of fuel fell two cents in both Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties, where they now sit at $2.97 and $3.04 respectively.
There was a three-cent decline in Brown County, which now has an average of $2.88, and the rest of the Counties in the area all reported a four-cent decline.
Calumet County now sits at $2.88 per gallon, Outagamie County has the lowest price per gallon, now at $2.82, Kewaunee County is at $2.95, and Door County is approaching the $3 threshold at $3.09.
The average price throughout the state followed local trends, dropping three cents to $2.95, while the national average fell two cents to $3.28.
Manitowoc County’s price has fallen a total of 17 cents from its peak of $3.14 in the second week in November, which is near the same decline in the state average, which was 15 cents over the same time frame.
