The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center in Manitowoc is celebrating STEM this week.
STEM is a relatively new course of study, which specializes in teaching children the finer points of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Today (December 28th) the Discovery Center will give children the opportunity to build their own aquifer and learn about groundwater with Wisconsin Farm Bureau.
Then tomorrow (December 29th) Lakeshore Technical College will bring in a 3D printer, and children will be able to learn how farmers battle soil erosion and use cover crops.
Closing out STEM Week on Thursday, participants will be able to make their own butter, and learn how farmers are using data and precision technology to grow better crops with Wisconsin Farm Bureau.
