An Appleton woman and her unborn child are dead following a crash last week in Waupaca County.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, 26-year-old Genesis E. Stanton was traveling east on Highway 10 at around 9:30 AM last Thursday when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The second vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Lianna Eve Kalenuik of Milwaukee, was reportedly passing a semi when she collided with Stanton.
Kalenuik was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, along with her 41-year-old passenger, Levi D. Kalenuik, and an unnamed 15-year-old boy.
Stanton and her unborn child died from their injuries.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing by the State Patrol.
