The Green Bay Packers Organization has given out two social justice grants totaling $125,000.
These grants are going to the Coalition for Youth/Adult Diversion Program and Sherman Phoenix as a part of the team’s efforts to support social justice and racial equality in Wisconsin communities.
The Coalition for Youth/Adult Diversion Program looks to raise awareness to systemic racial injustice in the Green Bay and Brown County area.
The Sherman Phoenix are located in Milwaukee and aim to foster change in the Sherman Park neighborhood. This is the fourth consecutive year the Packers have given social justice grants, with Jaire Alexander, Patrick Taylor and Oren Burks leading the selection of this year’s recipients.
